Most of us have issues...
--if that's your way of thinking, you'll definitely have a hard time being at peace with the people around you because you are going to have to deal with different attitudes on a daily basis.we really can't do anything about that.
Now if you have a good attitude, people will be drawn to you. But if you don't, you know the rest.
And so, maybe it's time to drop the "who cares?" question and start thinking "at least I care about myself, and I don't want to be clashing with anyone at any given time." It sounds selfish if that's how you take it. But it's a step. Initiative does start with an "I", you know. It's not impossible, it's just how you approach it. Your way of thinking really makes or breaks any attempt you make for anything!!!
But then you say, "you don't understand. You don't know what I'm going through." Yes, I am not in your shoes, I don't know how you feel and I don't know the things that you have to deal with. But realize that the things that you go through, all the bad things that bring you down, are catalysts. If you don't hate something enough, you won't leave it or stop doing it. You won't change because you're thinking to yourself "it's not ALL THAT BAD, right?" Or you'd say to your self, "Oh, I'll change eventually." "When so and so happens, I'll change." Well, it doesn't work that way, It's either you decide for yourself and start working on it. Like what my friend would say:
It has to get worse before it gets better.
These bad things that you can't bare, make you appreciate and cherish the good stuff. The Bible talks about a list of things that you don't want to experience and equated them with wonderful promises--they are called the Beatitudes.
Know the promises and claim them. Work your way up this ladder, and you'll make your way to a heaven on earth.Matthew 5:1-12
King James Version (KJV)
1And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:
2And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,
3Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
5Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
6Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
7Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
8Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
9Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
10Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Great things start with small beginnings. So take that first step, you can choose from any one of the positive actions in this list and think on it. Own it and believe that you can BE!!!
